I have Mindjet MindManager, but at my day job, I cannot use it. However, there is an alternative that will also open MindManager maps called XMind (http://www.xmind.net). The basic version is free and it is open source.

All Edition have, at their core, a collection folders which you can use just like normal Windows folders.

The mind maps which come with the Map and PRO editions provide a MUCH more convenient way to access those folders, along with a LOT of filing advice and cross-referencing embedded within the map.

The PRO Edition includes a whole new collection of folders for Operations (Projects), the ability to create multiple projects, utilities which automate part of the organization of your files and the ability to CREATE DAO Installers. (Note that ALL Editions, including the free edition, allow you to USE DAO Installers that someone else has created).

Regards

What can be done with just the FREE edition? How can we use it without the mindmap?

I too bought a complete Reseller package from one group, that linked me to your pkg.
I installed it, downloaded all the files with the provided DOA files.
Now, how do I start up the IM pkg. I read the REDME FIRST file & it said to use:
  • IM-Index-Organizer-Map.mmap
  • IM-Index-Organizer-PRO.mmap
Neither one is on my machine? I did complete search to NO avail.
What to do next?

If possible, a french version will be really appreciated.

I can translate it if you have a list of all content to be translated. No problem.  I'm author and eMarketer and I've translated many softwares. French market is a huge market. Dont forget all these new potential customers !  Wink

Thanks for those suggestions.

Mobile Marketing is unquestionably a major new topic that needs adding, and Domain Flipping isn't a sub-topic of any of the A-Z topics, so so that too needs to be included.

Good suggestions, which I will add to a minor release rather than wait for a major release (3.0).

In the meantime, I suggest you create additional folders under the MyExt folders, then when I issue the update you can simply copy the contents of your folders into the ones that will be linked to the new topics in the map.

Regards

Alex

Can I suggest these two folders are introduced? Or do you have a recommendation where they could logically go under the existing 3.0 map?

1. Mobile Marketing
2. Domain Flipping
