Compatible w MindManager Pro 7? USB Drives?

Hi - just got IMO and looking forward to finally having some order in my "IM" Folder.

I have used MindManager for years, currently Pro 7.  Any trick to installing IMO in parallel?  Do I need/want the "viewer"?  Is the IMO really just a very souped-up mindmap(s), or is there more to it (such that it might get tangled up with my other maps or something?)

Also, I keep all data (including downloads, all IM stuff, music, photos, videos, project maps (incl MM) docs, pdfs, etc. on one or more large USB external drives (not my "program" drive c:).  Can IMO support this?  Should I install straight to my USB drive, or does the IMO data structure provide for specific drive/path setups?

I just answered this in your support ticket, but I'll repeat it here so others can see the answer.

I recommend NOT using the full MM to open the IM Index Mind Map - it takes far too long to open it that way. Use the Viewer provided - that's what I do.

Also - I recommend not changing the Map: it would make it almost impossible to upgrade it later.

I don't see any problem installing it on your USB. But just test it out first. In particular, ensure the project management functions work ok (Create, Delete etc.). I really wouldn't expect that to be problem, though.
