I downloaded the file after purchasing (gold).  Then unzipped the download and it installed MindJet, but where is the MindMap?

Nothing displays, nothing to open in the My Maps directory.

Sent an email to Support, but hoping for quick help.

Thanks!

NEVER MIND --

Why have a My Maps directory and have the program looking there, when there is a IM-Index directory?
(which is where IM Mindmap is)

Can't wait to get ORGANIZED!!

Hello Craig

I responded to you directly by email after seeing your Help desk message.

But reading you post, I think I understand what you are doing - and I assume you've figured it out.

But incase anyone else comes here with a similar problem....

I expect you were opening the Mind Map Viewer program directly. When you do that, you will just see an empty screen - like opening Word directly without loading a specific document.

You COULD then navigate to the IM Index Mind Map itself from within the Viewer, but it's much easier to double click on the IM-Index.mmap file itself (or a shortcut to it), as I explained in my email.

As far as the My Maps folder is concerned, that gets installed automatically by the Viewer (Mindjet hopes you'll purchase the full Mind Manager product from them!). I can't control that.

Regards

Alex

Yep, figured it out.  Sometimes I am too fast for my own good (just sometimes!).
