In addition to using IMI Organizer for IM, I would like to adapt it for use in other projects that have nothing to do with IM, but I'm concerned about the warnings not to change any names in the existing map. Is there a way to create a new map/list involving other topics?

Thanks.

There is little point in using the product I sell for anything other than internet marketing. The topic names in the map and the folder names are all to do with internet marketing.

If you want to apply the idea to another domain, the only sensible approach would be to buy Mind Manager, create a mind map for the new domain and link the topics to a new folder structure.

There is nothing to stop you doing that, but you cannot use the software I have written for managing projects.

Alex -

Sorry to hear that. What you have set up, which will be a lifesaver for my IM business, would be the same for my freelance business - with some obvious changes - but the structure is perfect. Maybe you should consider offering a generic version that can be modified to suit individual projects. I'd be first in line to buy it.

As to the option suggested, are you referring to MindJet's MindManager software?

Thanks.

Mind Manager is the one he is looking for. If you buy this software, you definitely choose the updated version. I am also using this and as of now, I have no problem with it.
