newbie to IMIfolders v3 setup

Hi Alex Hope that you and yours are having a great Easter.  What I have is ImI Foldersv3 setup. which doesn't really show the map thing that you show in the videos. I bought the laser shield but it doesn't seem to helpful since I find the folder set up very confusing. Not to sure that i like what I got. I find this totally confusing and I am not sure of where to go for help or even what I should try to do with this folder setup. I will try to muddle through  and figure it out for myself. I tried reading the forums to see what i could learn from others but looks like others have the map which lays it all out for them.

You have the free edition of the product, which does not include the mind map.

If you want the mind map, you need to upgrade to IMI Organizer Map.

What can be done with just the FREE edition? How can we use it without the mindmap?

All Edition have, at their core, a collection folders which you can use just like normal Windows folders.

The mind maps which come with the Map and PRO editions provide a MUCH more convenient way to access those folders, along with a LOT of filing advice and cross-referencing embedded within the map.

The PRO Edition includes a whole new collection of folders for Operations (Projects), the ability to create multiple projects, utilities which automate part of the organization of your files and the ability to CREATE DAO Installers. (Note that ALL Editions, including the free edition, allow you to USE DAO Installers that someone else has created).
