Alex:

Saving notes about infrequently used installations and other procedures is a great idea.  Do you save each procedure as an individual document or one searchable document with all procedures inside?

I missed this question till now...

Personally, I group similar procedures into documents.

e.g. producedures related to Aweber in one doc, procedures about configuring Delavo in another document. Although sometimes I have individual documents but put them in a separate folder. (As you can see, I haven't formalised this yet).

The organizing structure is something you evolve as you add new procedures. I haven't worked out a pre-defined structure that would be widely applicable - although I guess that would be possible.
